for "dry land" (if you have an allergy to grass,
please let Coach Ambur know at the beginning of practice).

Meet
Information for Swimmers & Parents
Dual Meets: Warm-ups for all dual meets begin at 5:00 p.m. and meets should end by 10:30 p.m. Rain Dates for all home meets will be the next
day (for away meets, rain date TBD by host team). If swimmers are unable to attend a meet they should notify the coaching staff, in writing, in advance of the meet by putting a note in Ambur Humphrey’s and Monica Carolan’s folders in the black file box. (This is very important for many reasons). If swimmers can’t stay for an entire meet, they should also notify the coaching staff to ensure the relay participants are correctly listed. The earlier the coaches and the volunteer coordinator know about your absences, the better.
Division Finals: Since entries are limited and substitutions are prohibited for the RSL Finals meet, swimmers unable to participate in finals should advise the coaching staff in writing as far in advance as possible. Entries are typically “locked in” one week in advance of the finals meet. Warm-ups for Finals can begin as early as 7:30 a.m., and the meet is an all-day event. Details will be provided separately.
The date for Finals is August 2nd, so if you know you will not be here
then, please let the coaches know now!!

June 18, Wednesday AWAY at Austin Ridge:
--DIRECTIONS: Take I95 North to Exit 143B (Garrisonville Road). Go to 2nd traffic light and turn left onto Mine Road. Go approximately 2 miles (you will pass the Hampton Oaks Pool) and you will run into our subdivision Austin Ridge. Stay to your left and make the first right turn onto Scotland Circle. Follow Scotland Circle around to Gunston , which is the 2nd street on your right. The pool is straight ahead on Boulder.
--There are two parking lots available, the pool house parking lot, and right next door, at the community center. Street parking is allowed but only on one side, as follows: On BOULDER (the street the pool is on), please only park on the pool side of the street. On GUNSTON (where the tennis courts are) please park only on the tennis court side of the street. On SCOTLAND the street is wider, so parking is allowed on both sides. Thank you in advance for your cooperation.

July 9, Wednesday AWAY at Aquia Harbor:
--DIRECTIONS: From I-95 heading north take exit 143A. Turn left onto Route 1 North at the light. Turn right at the next light into Aquia Harbour and continue about 1/4 mile to the guard gate. Use the right lane and advise the guard you're attending a swim meet. After leaving the gate (check for traffic coming from your left) continue straight on Washington Drive, turn left onto Richmond Drive to the stop sign. Then turn left onto Aquia Harbour Drive approx. 1 1/2 miles. Aquia Drive will turn right, but you will continue straight onto Harpoon Drive. After going under power lines, you will turn right onto State Room Drive which then merges onto Farragut Drive. Turn right onto Merrimac Drive then turn right onto Bow Cove. Pool is on the left. Lots of Parking.

July 16, Wednesday AWAY at Curtis Park:
--DIRECTIONS: Starting from (I-95) at exit 133B: You will be on Hwy 17 after the exit. Go towards Warrenton (north/west) approximately 6 miles and turn RIGHT @ the light onto SR-705/SR-612 (Hartwood Rd) Go approximately 2 miles and turn RIGHT onto Jesse Curtis Ln. The pool/parking lot is approximately ˝ mile back on the LEFT. Ample parking and deck space.
Alternate Directions from Coach Ambur (to avoid I-95 & Rt 17
traffic): From Northhampton drive towards Eustace Road. Go straight through the 4-way stop. At the stop sign by the Library take a right onto Park Ridge. Go straight to the red light then take a left on to 610. Take a left at the next red light onto Shelton Shop Road. Follow Shelton Shop all the way to the stop sign. At the stop sign take a left on to Mountain View Road. The next real road on the right should be Stefaniga take a right on to it. It is a lil curvy. Follow it to the stop sign then take a right on to Poplar Road. The next real road on the left should be Stony Hill, turn left onto it. Follow Stony Hill to the stop sign then take a left. The Pool is inside Curtis Memorial Park that will shortly come up on your left. Go into the park and park in the large parking lot. It takes about 20min to get to the pool from Hampton Oaks.
